Made of 100% Ethiopian Handwoven Cotton

The textiles I designed with SHIMENA, a company who produces handwoven textiles in

Arba Minch, southern Ethiopia.

The fabrics are hand-dyed,. The yarn is mostly dyed with Mango leaves,, Eucalyptus leaves and Avocado seeds. The skilled weavers Seifu, Mengistu and Sintayu worked on the traditional loom endless hours to allow me to bring my vision into reality.

The beige striped and diamond patterned textiles are produced by KIND ETHIOPIA - Tibeb Shema Works PLC, a producer-owned social enterprise who are located in Bahir Dar, Ethiopia.

Extended with 100% Cameroonian Cotton, Hand-dyed

The beautiful yellow/black Batik is hand-dyed by a Cameroonian Dye/Batik Master who runs a small family business.

Danielle, a very talented emerging Cameroonian designers assisted me in Yaoundé and stitched the whole collection in many hours, yet in record time.

The dress and some shirts have been stitched by Ousmanou, a very talented tailor who focuses on menswear mainly.

This collection is not only dedicated to Ethiopia but to everyone who has been part of the creation process. Only through this skilled and dedicated people my vision could come to life.
